Project Angel

December is a month full of giving and St. Mary's certainly knows how to give!

Project Angel supports families in need in our school community and those of our feeder elementary schools.

Classrooms 'take on' an angel and bring in requested 'items' (books, school items, clothes, make-up, posters, music, games, food etc.) for each family.

The library (I) and students on spare period 1 have joyously taken on two angels this year.  We are all busy shopping to fulfill their wish list and to create a lovely gift arrangement for them to open on Christmas Day!

Check out the seasonal display of books in the library (shown here in our video)...

Merry Christmas to you all and enjoy a warm relaxing holiday,

Mrs. Roefs

Congratulations to former St. Mary's student Jake Muzzin for being a Stanley Cup Champion!!!
Wouldn't it be nice to have Stanley in the library?  Jake was a library 'regular' and I am soooo proud of him achieving his dream of winning the Stanley Cup!

Knowledge Ontario

Yesterday, there were problems accessing Knowledge Ontario.  The problems seemed to be at their end (not ours).
This morning everything looks to be running smoothly.
Remember, if you have difficulty accessing Knowledge Ontario, try the EBSCO databases, available on the eResources tab above and on the print resources tab using our library catalogue>digital resources. You will need login info. (see Mrs. Roefs)
Happy Searching!

Temporary home

With recent changes to our Board's website, there have been difficulties accessing the school library webpage at St. Mary's High School.

So, for now, I have created this site so that students can continue to utilize the databases and finish their assignments for year end.

Hopefully the new school web page and library web page will be up and running soon!

Until then, enjoy this site!
